Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions you may have on requirements for multiple sports. Thank you for being a part of this exclusive organization. Remember we are an invitation only club. Please only share our details with others who you deem worthy.
Flag/Tackle Football Requirements
*ID's for All Players
All players must have either an MVA ID, military ID or Passport. If you live in DC or are unable to obtain a MVA or Military ID, we highly recommend that you obtain a passport. League IDs cost $35 per sport. Obtaining an MVA ID or passport avoids having to pay $35 for each sport every season.
*Uniform Package
All parents must purchase their child a uniform package before the deadline. Most uniform packages comes with jersey and bottom and other accessories for both you and your child. We cannot guarantee your child’s uniform will be arrive time for games if you purchase after the deadline.
*AAU Cards
All players must have an AAU card. To obtain an AAU Card please follow the below:
1. Click this link: https://play.aausports.
2. Click “Get a Membership”
3. Click “Youth Athlete Membership”
4. On the next page, select your sport.
5. After you select your sport, choose “Extended”. DO NOT CHOOSE “REGULAR”. YOU WILL NOT BE COMPLIANT WITH PG BEARS IF YOU CHOOSE “REGULAR”.
6. Chose whatever Term you wish to register for your Student., 1-year or 2-year.
7. Click “Yes” to answer “Are they a member of a club”.
8. Enter the Club Code: RSYY44A4. You will see “Your club: 2024 – Youth Athlete University, Inc.”
9. Under “Who are you registering?”, complete this information for your Student and yourself.
10. If you have more than one Student, click “Add Another Athlete”.
11. If your Student(s) are 8th grade or above, you will see a section for “College Recruiting”. This is optional for you and not a required of the PG Bears.
12. Agree to the “Terms and Conditions” and complete YOUR first and last name.
13. Click “Continue”.
14. On the next page, click “Checkout”
15. You can create an account or check out as a guest.
16. Complete your Billing Information and click “Continue”.
17. Once you have completed this, you will see your Student’s AAU membership information at the bottom of the receipt. You will also receive an email.
*Membership Fee
Membership with the PG Bears is exclusive for our families. The fee is only $7.77/week for one student. Discounts apply when you register more than one child. Membership with the PG Bears allows your child to participate in multiple sports (even at the same time) year around with the PG Bears. If a weekly membership payment “skips” or is missed, you risk your child’s ID being pulled/revoked for the game.
*$105 Equipment Rental Hold Fee (Tackle Only)
There is a fee of $105 or your child to receive a helmet and should pads. $75 is refunded back to your card on file within 2 weeks after equipment is turned back in and is in satisfactory condition. ($25 is kept for professional reconditioning and cleaning and $5 is kept for refund processing fees.)
*Black Integrated Football Pants (Tackle Only)
Black integrated football pants can be obtained from sporting good stores or online like Amazon. Pants should fit snug and comfortable. They should not be baggy or too big. Uniform pants will slide over these pants.
High Top Cleats
Although not required, we highly recommend that all players wear high top cleats to have adequate ankle support. For colors, team colors are bright lemon yellow, NFL Seattle Seahawks action green with white and black undertones.
